Intro

I'm currently a respiratory therapist transitioning into the IT and cybersecurity field. I'm studying for my CompTIA Network+ certification and completing labs on TryHackMe to build practical skills. I'm especially interested in penetration testing and offensive security.

About Me

I was born in San Francisco and raised in Petaluma, California. After graduating high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2008 as an Infantry Rifleman. In 2010, I deployed to Afghanistan, and in 2012 I completed a second deployment conducting maritime security operations in the CENTCOM area.

After completing my service, I worked in a variety of roles before becoming a licensed respiratory therapist. Now that I’ve worked five years in the healthcare field, I’m ready to make a final career transition into the field I’m most passionate about — IT and cybersecurity.

I'm currently studying for the CompTIA Network+ certification, completing hands-on labs through TryHackMe, and building a home lab to strengthen my technical foundation. My long-term goal is to work in cybersecurity with a focus on penetration testing and offensive security.
